Describe Car here.
Car is big enough to contain seven (?) people
Cars that seat seven people often have limited boot space. We may need to consider hiring a roof-box with the car. The car-hire people may need to know this when we book.
Attributes of car should be known that we might plan ahead.
- GPS
- My telephone has GPS. I would suggest a proper mapbook might be a better idea
- I have a road atlas of Europe that might be of at least some use, but it'll be out of date wrt Yugoslavia and it almost certainly doesn't cover Turkey. -Smith
- mp3 player jack
Also minor details like where who we're going to hire it from, where we're going to pick it up/leave it, and how much it will cost.
Here might be a good place to mention that Abroad has different driving rules and customs, and perhaps even list some relevant ones. e.g.
- In France we must have a reflective jacket and traffic cone in the car.
- In Albania, road rage incidents frequently involve fire-arms.
- For Turkey at least, we require an international insurance Green Card. letsgoturkey.org adds, slightly menacingly, that same must be valid "for the whole of Turkey".
etc. etc.
