** The pacing of the initial few episodes was a bit slow. However, it really got enjoyable after that, and as we move into the second cour, it's really showing promise. Also, intrigue. Explosions. Dragons. The most hilarious military character ever. I think it's a candidate. --maxb

** I'm impressed - they actually pulled off a good concluding episode that felt like an appropropriate narrative stopping point, even though their adventures have only just begun. --maxb

* Snow White with the Red Hair (Akagami no Shirayukihime) S2 ?

** Four Rhythm Across the Blue (蒼の彼方のフォーリズム)

** This was a show in which the plot was almost entirely constructed from standard anime cliches - and yet I still enjoyed it a lot. It's all about the characters and their emotions. And the art and OP/ED music is good too. --maxb
