• Ben: Some photogenic view of Fuji, day of hiking in mountains/forests, Jigokudani Monkey Park, Yakushima, Osaka aquarium, old Kyoto
• Lmm: Hot Springs, Tokyo International Anime Fair, Akihabara, Otowa-no-taki, Cherry Blossoms, the Monkey Park from K-ON!, Toei Movie Land, Snow (priority order, first four in particular, I could probably come up with more)
• Dan: Onsen, Tokyo architecture (preferably at night), maybe see sake being made
• Philip: Yakushima (looks pretty damned awesome) - probably some hiking there or something, old Kyoto (perhaps with a stop in Uji), Cherry Blossoms

• Sat 17th/Sun 18th: get Ben's view of Fuji at some point
• Monday 19th: Lmm and Emma arrive. Osaka aquarium, -> Kyoto in the evening.
• Tue 20th: Old Kyoto, Otowa-no-taki.
• Wed 21st: Kyoto/Uji
• Thur 22nd: Jigokudani Monkey Park, on the way back to Tokyo
• Fri 23rd: Tokyo, including a look at night
• Sat 24th: Tokyo anime fair
• Sun 25th: More Tokyo and/or anime fair
• Mon 26th: Tokyo? Ghibli museum? Onsen? Sake distillery?
• Tue 27th: Emma flies home. The rest of us go to Yakushima
• Wed 28th: Day of hiking around Yakushima. See if we can find some cherry blossoms too.
• Thur 29th: More Yakushima? Back to the mainland?
• Fri 30th: Whatever we didn't do on Mon 26th
• Sat 31st: Whatever we didn't do yesterday. Do some of us fly home already?
• Sun 1st: Many of us fly home?

Thoughts:

• I think this is about the right amount of travelling around to be doing; certainly I wouldn't want to do much more (but obviously I'm in a different position from everyone else)
• We could easily have one more day around Osaka/Kyoto if we wanted
• I'm going by Ben's statement that Tokyo has at least two days' worth of stuff to do there, even though none of us have really listed that as a thing-to-do
• I'd rather do Yakushima early in week 2 than right at the end, just in case hilarity ensues
• Reorder what we do on 26th/30th/31st based on what Emma wants to do
• I haven't really put anything down for 17th/18th for obvious reasons
