Accessories - things people think we should bring
- Cameras - duh
- Phones - likewise
- Reading material - I hear this worked well for the previous trip, though those there will comment more. It might be sensible to try and arrange to all take things we all haven't read.
- Members of CUSFS could obtain books from the library, by proxy perhaps
- Harder to read in cars than trains, so probably not a huge issue. Bring a couple of books and rotate.
- Indeed, we do not need many books each. Last time we all read every book we had with us.
- Phrasebooks (most likely readily to be obtained from Amazon)
- Guidebooks?
Games
- Bananagrams - Smith
- Travel Scrabble - Smith
- Mahjong - Lmm
- Potentially BSG and/or Roborally, though I could see either getting silly - Lmm
- We do not have room for such things
- Don't be silly
- much as i would like to think roborally would be sensible, alas! for sometimes displaying common sense
- I don't see why you think we don't have space. They're not all that big, and we will have a car. Obviously we shouldn't go overboard, but a couple of board games should be fine.
- An absence of Risk - Smith
- Seriously, we do not have room, nor (I would hope) the time for non-travel games. I would suggest cards, travel scrabble, other travel games.
Music
- well i shall bring some, in "compact disc" form or otherwise; that threat should be enough to ensure many other people bring some
- If anyone has more Tom Lehrer than I (viz., "In Concert"), let him speak now &c - Smith
- We have at least "That Was The Year That Was" as well
- I can bring a recitation of the Koran which should fill a few hours.
