HERE ARE THINGS which the financial-obsessive and/or cautious members of this guild have calculated will contribute to the cost

• FLIGHTS at £150 per head; this is based on Croatia Airlines prices.
• CAR HIRE at £150 per head; this is based on Ben's research suggesting that a car can be got for €1000 which fits our criteria.
• FUEL at £65 per head; this is based on a distance of 2,500 miles, an efficiency of 40mpg (I cannot assume better, given a 6-dude van, often country roads and so forth) and cost of £1.30 per litre
• ACCOMMODATION at £225 per head; hostelries appear to be able to cater for us at c. €12 to €20 per night, which we can take to be £15. This will last 15 nights.
• FOOD AND DRINK at £320 per head; let us assume we are pretty frugal but still we are tourists, and that we subsist on £20 per day. This will last 16 days.
• ATTRACTIONS AND OTHER SUCH BSNS at an arbitrary allowance of £120 per head.

TOTAL: £1,030 per head?
